What to expect when you apply

Note: To be considered for, and appointed to, a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.

  • Timeframe

    The recruitment process can take 4 to 6 weeks.

  • Inclusive and accessible

    We want to see your skills, talent and experience. Please share any adjustments we can make to support you through the process.

  • Interviews

    The typical recruitment process involves an assessment which may be a behavioural-based interview. This may take place on a video call or in person.

  • Technology

    We use different technology tools during the process. Your interview might be via video on Microsoft Teams.

  • Probity checks

    After the interview, we conduct your reference and background checks. This includes a Criminal Record Check, which we pay for.

  • Additional Checks

    Some roles need extra checks completed (paid for by you). Eg: Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate and CPR.

  • We'll contact you
