Welcome to our inviting heritage home nestled in the picturesque Oatlands countryside. We are excited to offer two available rooms in a comfortable, wheelchair-friendly environment where you can add your personal touch. We also offer day and overnight short term accommodation (STA).
Join our active day program with outdoor adventures and trips to Hobart for bowling, mini-golf, and more.
We're looking for two housemates of any gender who value independent living with support and will blend well with our current male housemate.

• 4 bedrooms inclusive of built-in wardrobes.
• Fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of bench space.
• Two bathrooms with stepless showers and grab rails.
• Three shared living areas for relaxation and socialising.
• Internal laundry with washer and dryer.
• Huge well-maintained backyard with shade trees, vegetable gardens, and a separate activities centre.
Day Support centre:
At our day support centre, we nurture a large garden where we not only care for plants and vegetable crops but also offer various activities. Join our Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday day support sessions, which often include outings to Hobart for activities like bowling, mini-golf, and fishing.

Location information
Oatlands, just an hour's drive from Hobart, offers charming local shops, a new hydrotherapy centre, wineries, and picturesque farms. Nearby, there's a hospital across the road for convenience.
Accessibility
This property is mostly fully wheelchair accessible.
Current support model
Rostered 24/7 care. All staff have current First Aid and medication training. Regular household safety checks are conducted.
Factors to consider when applying
Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible.
You are aged 18 years or over.
You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding.
You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement.
