Cultural support planning
Cultural support planning is specialist support by trained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children relating to their cultural heritage and participation in their local Aboriginal community. This is achieved through the development of individual cultural support plans.
Cultural support plans provide direction to the care team to help provide culturally respectful services.
Cultural support planning may be completed by an LWB worker or the Department, depending on your state or territory.
