Media Statement - Mitchell Report

As a charitable organisation, our primary responsibility and commitment is to the safety and well-being of children and young people entrusted to our care. Life Without Barriers has reviewed the Mitchell Report and supports its findings and recommendations.

Upon receiving the report, we commenced immediate work to imbed the relevant improvements to our services and we will continue to explore all opportunities to consistently enhance the services we provide. We thank the Department of Communities and Justice for the opportunity to participate in the review and we will continue to work in partnership with children and young people and the Government to deliver safe and quality services across NSW.
