Life Without Barriers is committed to ensuring our workplace is accessible and inclusive for those with disability.
We are excited to announce that in the Australian Network on Disability’s Access and Inclusion Index we have been ranked 7th within this year’s cohort of 28 Access & Inclusion Index participants.
We had an overall score of 64% which is an improvement of 10% on our 2017 score. The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is a not-for-profit organisation resourced by its members to advance the inclusion of people with disability in all aspects of business. They help their members and clients to welcome people with disability as employees, customers and suppliers.
The areas that we scored particularly well in were recruitment and selection, product and services, communication and marketing, premises and workplace adjustments.
Through our Accessibility, Inclusion and Employment Plan (AIEP) we will continue our journey to being a truly accessible and inclusive organisation.
