David and Ralph are two very social people in their 40s who are looking for a new housemate to join their home. They choose Life Without Barriers' Supported Independent Living services and they are continually developing their skills and confidence and enjoy being active in their local community in Melbourne, VIC.

David and Ralph are eager to welcome a new housemate who shares their interests and values.

Meet David

David loves the home as it is close to his mother's house, shops, restaurants, and public transport.

"Living close to my mum's house means a lot to me. I can easily stay in touch and visit her often," David shared.

While David values his personal space, he also enjoys the supportive community around him.

"I enjoy the people around me. They make me feel comfortable at home."

David loves cars, fishing, water sports, and spending time at the pub with family. He is looking for a housemate who is quiet, independent, shares his love for car racing, and helps to keep the living space tidy.

Meet Ralph

Ralph loves that his home is near his favourite local places and has plenty of public transport options.

"Being close to my favourite pub and most transport options really opens up my independence," Ralph said.

"It's my home, and I love the freedom it gives me."

Ralph enjoys going out for lunch, trying new foods, walking, and supporting his Melbourne Football Club – the Demons. He is looking for a housemate who is independent, tidy, loves footy, and has a good sense of humour.

With the support of Life Without Barriers, David and Ralph have created a home where they can enjoy their independence and active lifestyles, and now they want you to join them!
