New South Wales
Forster Hub Open Day
We welcome individuals with disability, their families, and friends to explore our facilities, chat with staff, and enjoy a day filled with fun activities. There will be lucky door prizes, cupcake decorating, face painting, games, and a free sausage sizzle!
Whether you're interested in new hobbies, sports, or community outings, our hub is the perfect place for to discover, learn, and have a great time in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Foster Care Information Stall at Boonah Town Centre
Are you able to open your home and provide a safe and stable home for children and young people in care? Come down to the community booth in Boonah Town Centre and chat about all things foster care with our friendly staff!
Our team can talk you through the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support we provide at Life Without Barriers.

Summer Land Camels Autumn Markets
Experience the best of a boutique country market! Come and support local producers and businesses from Southeast Queensland. Eat, shop, have a great time with friends, enjoy the stunning views, and relax while listening to the sounds of local entertainers while you browse through the stalls.
Life Without Barriers will be there with an information stall, and our friendly staff will be available to chat with you about foster and kinship care.

Cuppa in the Communi-tea
This free, accessible, and inclusive event connects residents with different service providers in the local community and council departments and offers technology support, free Wi-Fi, and the chance to borrow some books from the Mobile Library Van.
Drop in, have a cuppa, and chat with the Life Without Barriers team. Our friendly staff and foster carers will be happy to share all the information and insights into what it's like to be a foster carer and to answer any questions you might have.

Foster Care Information Webinar
If you're interested in sharing your home, heart and time with a child or young person in need, please join our free information session to learn what's involved in becoming a foster carer and whether it's the right fit for you.
During the session, we will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session.
