New South Wales
Specialist Disability Accommodation Open Day
Join us for a guided tour of the brand-new Specialist Disability Accommodation apartments in Auburn, New South Wales!
These thoughtfully designed apartments are tailored for SDA-eligible NDIS participants, offering a comfortable, safe, and independent lifestyle, so you can enjoy modern living while accessing the support you need.
KinKera, a leading community housing organisation, and Life Without Barriers, a trusted disability support provider, will be available on the day to answer your questions about the accommodation and shared onsite support services.

DiversAbility Fun Day
Workforce Plus and the DiversAbility Collective are hosting the DiversAbility Fun Day 2024, a special event celebrating the International Day of People with Disability.
This free and inclusive event is open to the public and will feature a variety of activities, including sports, arts, performances, games, and award presentations. The event is designed to engage all members of the community and ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Foster Care Information Webinar
If you're interested in sharing your home, heart and time with a child or young person in need, please join our free information session to learn what's involved in becoming a foster carer and whether it's the right fit for you.
During the session, we will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers. Our experienced team and a local foster carer will talk you through the process and answer any questions you have - no matter how big or small!

North Lakes Buy Local Christmas Spectacular
Come along to the North Lakes Christmas Spectacular and enjoy a twilight market where you can support local businesses while you shop for Christmas gifts. There will also be a visit from Santa, food trucks, stalls, giveaways, activities, and live bands playing Christmas classics.
Life Without Barriers is hosting a stall at the event, and our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions you have about foster care.

Newport Christmas Market
Boasting over 50 market stalls, a coffee van, local fresh produce, food trucks, live music and free face painting for children, the Newport Christmas Market will be a fun filled morning where you can wander around and enjoy the talents of the local community!
We will have a stall at the market, and our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions you have about foster care.

Sandstone Point Christmas Carnival
Celebrate Christmas at the Sandstone Point Christmas Carnival. Stroll through the market stalls to discover gifts for your loved ones, enjoy delicious treats from the food stalls, live music and rides for the kids! This year you can take part in the Christmas crafts pop-up, a cookie decorating station, and the Ugly Christmas Sweater Parade.
We will have a stall at the market, and our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions you have about foster care.
