South Australia
Foster Care Information Webinar
Across South Australia, we urgently need people who are willing and able to offer long-term stable homes, short-term emergency care or weekend respite care for children who are unable to live safely with their families.
If you're interested in sharing your home, heart and time with a child or young person in need, please join our free information session to learn what's involved in becoming a foster carer and whether it's the right fit for you.
During the session, we will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers. Our experienced team and a local foster carer will talk you through the process and answer any questions you have - no matter how big or small!

Victoria
Victoria’s Pride Street Party
Experience a full day of LGBTQIA+ art, live music, performances, community and culture, with stalls showcasing local treasures. Open to all - families, friends, and allies - there’s something for everyone, from morning to night.
Our friendly staff and foster care ambassadors are hosting a booth at the event and will be ready to chat with attendees answer any questions you have about the different types of foster care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers.
